An interrupted journey
Story of my space puzzle
Recently, I worked on another wooden puzzle for Ludattica's Woody Puzzle series, this time with a space theme.
The puzzle featured astronauts, aliens, robots, alien planets, rockets, spaceships, satellites, stars, and meteorites - essentially, everything related to space.
It was a wonderful project, and I really enjoyed working on it.
Unfortunately, Ludattica decided, for reasons unknown to me, not to publish it.
However, they chose to recycle some of the characters
from the puzzle for another game called
"My Planet Lab & Craft".
This game is designed to help children to discover the Earth's rotation and the phases of the day,
with a universe-box to decorate with markers and stickers, including some of my space rockets, characters, stars and other elements from my puzzle.
Although I didn't particularly appreciate this decision, I am still glad that my drawings find a place in this educational project created in collaboration with Explora - The Children's Museum OF Rome.
Even though the space puzzle will never see the light of day, my space characters will continue to live in the other game and children will enjoy playing with them.
